† COMMISSIONS †

Hello traveller, and welcome to this humble corner. Here you'll find information regarding fantasy art commissions, which I presume you were looking for. Get some rest, have a look around and replenish yourself, for the journey's long and the perils are many.

† how to †

01. First of all, I need descriptions of what you'd like me to do, namely: characters, landscapes, creatures, props, an action scene, a setting full of storytelling elements, etc. How many characters? What do they look like? If you have any reference material, I'd appreciate seeing it. The same goes if there's a story behind them that you think should be visible somehow, or if they should have a certain attitude or expression. Of course, having creative freedom is appreciated, but I also need to know what you want.02. Once that's settled, I need you to sign a contract, so that every bit of information is clear and transparent, and so that we can set deadlines and payment forms. I normally take either 100% of the payment upfront, or two installments of 50% each, one before starting and the other after the piece is approved.03. Now begins the sketching and feedback stage. I'll normally start with very rough sketches and build up from there, allowing you to be part of the process too. I need to know your thoughts along the way so we're both on the same page. The same process applies for the colouring stage.04. After the initial drafts are approved and the colours/mood/etc. are settled, I start rendering the final details. Note that this step only applies for fully rendered pieces, and not for sketches or flat coloured pieces.05. Once everything's done, I'll require you to check the finished piece once more. Even though I'll never send anything I'm not happy with, I still want you to be satisfied with it too, so I'm open to make some small corrections. However, I won't change big parts of any work, since that's what the previous steps are for.06. Only in case the payment was split into two installments, I'll take the second half of it after the piece has been approved.

01. Sketches can take from 1-3 days, and finished pieces (considering the process goes smoothly) should take a couple of weeks, depending on its complexity. We can always discuss deadlines, though, so feel free to ask.02. While I'm quite open regarding what I can do, I will definitely and unquestionably not create anything involving or conveying harm to vulnerable groups, including paedophilia, misogyny, rape, 2SLGBTQ+phobia, racism or any other form of bigotry. If unsure, you can always ask!03. Unless specified in writing, I retain most of the rights of every piece. However, feel free to print it, share it online, or do whatever you want with it as long as there's no commercial use involved.04. An additional restriction is that I don't allow my work to be used in either generative AI software or NFT, which is also included in the contract.
